1 Introduksi
1.1 Latar Belakang
Hedonic acceptance test dengan skala 9-point (1 = sangat tidak suka, 9 = sangat suka) adalah metode pengukuran kesukaan konsumen yang paling luas dipakai sejak diperkenalkan oleh Peryam & Pilgrim (1957) di Quartermaster Food and Container Institute (Lawless & Heymann, 2010). Pada studi pangan modern, panelis konsumen biasanya menilai beberapa atribut sekaligus — warna, aroma, rasa, tekstur, overall liking — untuk satu set produk uji. Hasilnya berbentuk tabel wide-format dengan multi-atribut × multi-produk.
Quick Sensory Check adalah route beginner-first yang membaca tabel hedonic multi-atribut, menjalankan ANOVA satu-arah per atribut (atau Kruskal-Wallis bila non-parametrik), dan menampilkan ringkasan terkonsolidasi: produk terbaik per atribut, p-value tiap atribut, dan post-hoc Tukey HSD bila perbedaan signifikan. Jembatan antara eksplorasi awal dan decision-making cepat.
1.2 Tujuan Modul
- Membaca tabel hedonic wide-format dengan pola
atribut_faktor. - Menjalankan ANOVA satu-arah per atribut (auto-fallback Welch/Kruskal-Wallis).
- Menampilkan produk terbaik per atribut dan p-value berdampingan.
- Memberikan post-hoc Tukey HSD untuk pasangan signifikan.
- Mendukung mode
wide_scoresataulong_format. - Audiens: mahasiswa S1/S2 dengan hedonic test pertama, R&D screening formulasi, panel konsumen.
1.3 Posisi di Antara Alternatif
Pilih Quick Sensory Check untuk review cepat multi-atribut hedonic. Untuk single attribute rating, pakai Single Factor Rate That Apply. Untuk discriminasi biner, pakai Triangle Test / Duo-Trio. Untuk profil deskriptor intensitas, gunakan Descriptive Analysis Studio (akan datang). Untuk uji statistik manual lanjut, ekspor dan pakai Compare Many Groups.
2 Metode
2.1 Dasar Teoretis
Skala hedonic 9-point (Peryam & Pilgrim, 1957) — interval-like, di-treat sebagai numerik:
| Skor | Label (Bahasa Indonesia) | English label |
|---|---|---|
| 9 | Amat sangat suka | Like extremely |
| 8 | Sangat suka | Like very much |
| 7 | Suka sedang | Like moderately |
| 6 | Sedikit suka | Like slightly |
| 5 | Netral | Neither like nor dislike |
| 4 | Sedikit tidak suka | Dislike slightly |
| 3 | Tidak suka sedang | Dislike moderately |
| 2 | Sangat tidak suka | Dislike very much |
| 1 | Amat sangat tidak suka | Dislike extremely |
One-way ANOVA per atribut untuk $k$ produk:
Bila $p < \alpha$ → Tukey HSD: $\text{HSD} = q_{\alpha; k, N-k} \cdot \sqrt{\text{MS}_W / n}$. Pasangan $|\bar{x}_i - \bar{x}_j| > \text{HSD}$ signifikan.
Fallback non-parametrik (Kruskal-Wallis H) bila Shapiro-Wilk residual menolak normalitas:
$$ H = \frac{12}{N(N+1)} \sum_{j=1}^{k} \frac{R_j^2}{n_j} - 3(N+1) $$Post-hoc Kruskal-Wallis: Dunn's test dengan koreksi Holm.
Welch's ANOVA dipakai bila variansi heterogen tetapi residual normal (Welch, 1951).
2.2 Persamaan Inti
One-way ANOVA F per atribut: $F_a = \text{MS}_{B,a} / \text{MS}_{W,a}$
Tukey HSD: $\text{HSD} = q_{\alpha; k, N-k} \cdot \sqrt{\text{MS}_W / n_{\text{harmonic}}}$
Kruskal-Wallis H: $H = \frac{12}{N(N+1)} \sum_j R_j^2/n_j - 3(N+1)$
2.3 Asumsi & Batas Validitas
| Asumsi | Konsekuensi jika dilanggar | Cara cek di SQalytics |
|---|---|---|
| Skala interval/ratio (skor numerik) | ANOVA tidak valid (pakai Friedman) | Modul validate tipe data |
| Replikasi $n \geq 10$ per produk | Power rendah | Modul flag warning |
| Residual normal (Shapiro-Wilk $p > 0.05$) | Type I inflated | Auto-fallback ke Kruskal-Wallis |
| Variansi homogen (Levene $p > 0.05$) | Type I inflated | Auto-fallback ke Welch |
| Panelis independen tiap rating | Repeated measures bias | Untuk same-panelist, pakai repeated ANOVA |
| Order randomization | Bias presentation order | SOP balanced block |
| Panelis paham anchor skala | Drift antar sesi | Briefing standar tiap sesi |
